A long list of bills signed into law within the last couple of days includes HB 381 Checking Station Pattern Selection.
It is now referred to as Session Law 2011-216.

It is scheduled to go into effect on December 1.
The new law is of particular interest to the motorcycling community because it should effectively end motorcyclist only roadblocks like the one in Holly Ridge during the Myrtle Beach Fall Rally in 2009.
