Some TBI Symptoms More Likely to be PTSD
A recent study which tracked National Guard Soldiers during the final month of their 16-month deployment to Iraq and then again a year after they returned home, found that servicemembers who suffer mild traumatic brain injuries in combat and then struggle with depression, irritability, alcohol abuse and similar problems are more likely to be experiencing post-traumatic stress than brain injury symptoms.
