It was a long time coming.

"It felt good to me," post commander Tino Adame said of the joint ceremony. "After all these years, to say we're not looked at as baby killers or looked at in a negative way, for a lot of us, it was positive. People in the community welcomed us home and said, 'Thank you.' "
