Cuellar veteran meeting draws a crowd
"The VA is not a perfect system. I know that. But we're trying to make it better," Cuellar said.
"If you run into someone who doesn't treat you well, that experience can sour you on the VA," Cuellar said. "If they're not treating you with respect, they're in the wrong business."
When he asked for a show of hands by those who served in Vietnam, the response appeared to indicate that more than half of those in the hall were Vietnam veterans.
"We have changed that now where it's easier to file those claims," Cuellar said. "We opened up the door where we're able to address Agent Orange."
