Over the past few years we have usually taken two Vietnam trips, but due to increased interests from Vietnam veterans, VWAM has added a third trip to the schedule next year. Vietnam veterans are given priority placement on a team, but non-vets are very welcome to join us J. You do not have to be a medical/health professional to participate on these teams! The 2012 team trips are:
Vietnam Trip #1: February 22 – March 9, 2012. This medical team will most likely go to Hong Ha and A Luoi in Hue Thua Thien Province. Hong Ha is 35 miles west of Hue City, and A Luoi is 65 miles west of Hue City near the Laotian border. Price is $2,999 per person based on double occupancy plus $100 NR Deposit.
Vietnam Trip #2: March 14-30, 2012. This second medical team trip will either be to Buon Ma Thuot in Dak Lak Province (1st choice) or Dai Loc in Quang Nam Province (2nd choice). Price is $2,999 per person based on double occupancy plus $100 NR deposit.
Vietnam Trip #3: June 20 – July 6, 2012. This medical team will go to Da Nang and work in Hoa Quy Ward, which is located just south of Marble Mountain. This will be a cooperative outreach with a local church. Price is $3,299 per person based on double occupancy plus $100 NR deposit.
All trips depart from San Francisco, and each team member arranges their own transportation to SFO. Trip price includes SFO-TPE-SGN-TPE-SFO international flight, SGN-HUI/DAD-SGN in-country flight, all hotels in Vietnam with daily breakfast (4 or 5 Stars), all airport-hotel-airport transfers, all team ground transportation, one team dinner and a team t-shirt, all fees/taxes/charges, your visa and processing.
