Please do. You are worth several thousand votes. In my favor. I encourage you to contact the Kingsport Timed News and tell them your story. I have told you that I do not support your position. Threats like you are making are silly and not productive. I am and always be against dangerous behavior. Good night.

Ignore the question best thing to do when your fighting against freedom your arguement was very weak at best.I do want to give you credit at least you do correspond. Hope you look back over our e-mails and see what is right oh by the way even bush was against helmet laws for adults check texas law and if you will read ronald reagon's interview in reason magazine july 1975.Also the speaker pro-temp of the house was primary sponsor and the leader of your on caucas was a co-sponsor are they stupid? I don't think you will have an answer to these either but I hope it will get you think

As Ronald Reagon said freedom means being able to do things that most consider stupid read his words and by the way it is only a law for adults in 20 states and it may pass if we can get people like you voted out you sound more like a bush republican you only want less government until your in charge.I don't know what you were talking about as far as the word offend.I guess it does not matter what your constituent think your going to do what you want to right? Also you did not address helmet for people in automobiles I might think that is stupid good luck trying to make enough laws to keep people from doing stupid things what an arguement who will decide what is stupid or not maybe they might decide something you do is stupid imagine that.

Ok, I see your point, you mean offend. Then let me offend, what you propose is foolishness and.will never pass. If stopping people from doing stupid things is big government, then so be it.....by your definition.

I did think you were smarter than comparing laws that affect others directly like DUI,speed limits to helmet laws on motorcycles but I guess not and I do know you like to portray yourself as less government but facts are facts you still like telling everyone else how to live and you don't even ride if you were consistant you would try passing a bill requiring helmets in cars but you want do that. I stand by what I said you are for big government!

Thank you for sharing your concerns. You certainly have a right.to your day and opinion. You might want to research a members actual votes before tossing
" big government insult." When the state ( big government) stops regulating speed limits, DUI law, and all manner of wreckless driving offenses, we will be sure to enact a law that allows for no helmet.
By the way, did you note my.vote in opposition to requiring helmets on private property?
Thank you again for writing.

Dear Mr.Shipley, I saw hb1673 was put off another year and I don't think it stands a chance next year the democrats and liberal big government republicans like yourself continue to put your political foot on the neck of freedom my hope is you will have a change of heart or the voters in your district will make a change and vote for a freedom fighter not a fighter against freedom. If you get the chance you might want to look at reason magazine july 1975 edition and see what Ronald Reagon thought on this issue.
Thanks Mark

Dear Mr.Shipley, I talked with you a while back on the concerning HB1673 (repeal of the motorcycle helmet law) first I would like to thank you for talking with me even though we did not agree I respect you for that.During our conversation you kept saying we as representing the republican party on this issue just wanted to send you some facts so far there are 11 states that bills have been introduced to repeal helmet laws in them the primary sponsors are 10 republicans 3 democrats that is from house and senate in those states. There are 2 states that bills have been introduced to have a helmet law those are sponsored by dems.Great freedom advocates like Ron Paul and Rand Paul republicans have came out against helmet laws I say all this to say I believe the future of the republican party is for less government and more individual freedom I hope you will rethink your position or maybe which party you represent
Thanks Mark
