Australia - Bikie squad charges man after Brookvale raid

OFFICERS from the police squad set up to target illegal bikie gangs have seized a firearm and charged a man after a raid on a Brookvale home last night.
Stike Force Raptor officers inspected a property in Pine Avenue at about 9pm yesterday and during the search warrant located a .22 calibre rifle allegedly not secured safely, and seized a amount of ammunition.
Police spoke to a 48-year-old man, an alleged associate of the Finks Outlaw Motorcycle Gang, and suspended his firearm license.
The man was issued with a Field Court Attendance Notice to appear at Manly Local Court on June 9 for failing to keep the firearm safely.
The State Crime Command established the strike force under their Gangs Squad in 2009 to target outlaw motorcycle gangs and any associated criminal enterprises.
Anyone wishing to assist the strike force with information in relation to outlaw motorcycle gangs is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
