Vietnam Vets Rally To Help Citizens Of
Frederick, Md.
For Immediate Release February 17, 2011
On Wednesday February 23, 2011, Vietnam Veterans will conduct a Rally/Protest against the Government and Ft. Detrick, Md., the “BIRTHPLACE” OF AGENTS ORANGE, BLUE, WHITE and other “defoliants” used during the Vietnam War. These “defoliants” were tested across the United States, exposing hundreds of thousands more prior to use in Vietnam. Almost every test listed on the Department of Defense Records indicates these “stateside” tests, were conducted by the Plants and Science Laboratory Scientists from Ft. Detrick, Maryland. Two-tour Vietnam Veteran and rally organizer, Lou Krieger states, “Ft. Detrick has been less than forthcoming with what little information they have provided”. Additionally, “Ft. Detrick is very secretly going through their “archives” and “blacking out information” in what appears to be a “cover-up” for their past deeds”. Krieger added, “some of these tests in the United States used spraying 1,200 times more powerful than what was used in the 20 million gallons sprayed across Vietnam, exposing the military and civilians training nearby”. Krieger said, “Agent Orange and its colorful siblings were not commercial products, these were “TACTICAL HERBICIDES AND GROWTH ACCELERANTS”. In fact, Agent Orange and Super Orange Foam were even sprayed along the shoreline, and in the water, around Poole’s Island and the Dundee Creek in Southeastern Baltimore County.
Coming from Davenport, Florida, Vietnam Veteran Henry Snyder and his wife Sheila with the traveling “VIETNAM VETERANS AGENT ORANGE QUILTS OF TEARS”, a very moving Memorial to those who have died from exposure to AGENT ORANGE. The Vietnam Veterans Of America will also be on hand with educational information on how Agent Orange has burdened families of those who served, including information on test locations in the United States!
