A Kern County jury has found Hell's Angel Michael Pena and his friend Joseph Soto not guilty in the stabbing death of an 18-year-old motorcycle gang member. Pena's friend Joseph Soto was also found not guilty to charges of assault with a deadly weapon, conspiracy and other charges.
The two had been accused in the stabbing death of Vagos motorcycle gang member Roger Violano and the assault of then 69-year-old Nerl Rinehart in May 2010. The two were stabbed outside an Oildale tattoo shop.
The jury had begun deliberating the case Friday afternoon and the not guilty verdicts were read Wednesday.
