An illegal drug lab has been found at a Gold Coast home where a man was shot and his pregnant partner and child were held captive.
The man in his 40s was shot in the shoulder on Wednesday night when two suspected bikie gang members stormed his Wongawallan home in the Gold Coast hinterland.
His pregnant partner was allegedly assaulted before both were tied up in front of their small child, who was not harmed.
Two men have been charged with armed robbery and unlawful wounding in relation to the home attack.
The men, a 47-year-old from Bonogin and a 40-year-old from Helensvale, have also been charged with several counts of deprivation of liberty and burglary with intent.
They have been remanded in custody and are due to appear in the Southport Magistrates Court on Friday.
The shot man is in a stable condition with non-life threatening injuries, while his 39-year-old partner has been released from hospital after treatment for minor injuries.
Police say an illegal drug lab was found in the garage of their home.
It's the third shooting in as many weeks and comes just over a fortnight after Gold Coast police officer Damian Leeding was fatally wounded in an armed tavern holdup.
